Workshop Overview

Exploring Dreams, Soul, Spirits, and Healing through Core Shamanism
An Advanced Workshop from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (FSS) developed by Michael Harner.
In this experiential workshop, participants explore the nature, purpose, and power of dreams from a shamanic perspective. Across cultures, shamans have long used dreams as a doorway to knowledge, healing, and spiritual insight. Researched and developed by anthropologist Michael Harner, this workshop brings together dreamwork practices found in shamanic traditions worldwide.
Through shamanic journeying, partner practices, and instructed exploration, you will learn how to recognize different types of dreams, understand their spiritual origins, and apply their messages to contemporary life. You will also explore how dreams relate to the soul, spirits, divination, and the broader landscape of non-ordinary reality.
This is a deeply illuminating workshop for anyone who wants to work with dreams as a powerful source of guidance and healing.

You may choose to share, but it is never required. The focus is on learning methods, not analyzing personal stories.
Do I need vivid dreams to attend?
No. Even those who rarely recall dreams can learn to strengthen dreamwork through shamanic techniques.
Is this workshop emotional or intense?
It can be deep and meaningful, but the work is grounded, safe, and fully guided.
